2024 Minnesota Airports Conference

April 24–26, 2024

Breezy Point, MN

About the Event

Mark your calendar for the 2024 conference! The annual event features experts in aviation and aerospace fields sharing their experiences in a variety of sessions and presentations. The conference, held in conjunction with the Minnesota Council of Airports annual meeting, also includes an industry trade show and an awards and recognition program.

The conference aims to deliver the most up-to-date and advanced information for Minnesota aviation professionals and provide an opportunity for industry and government officials to exchange ideas on funding, trends, airport management, operations, maintenance, and best practices.

Call for Presentations

At this time, the conference planning committee is soliciting presentation ideas for the 2024 conference. Presentations are encouraged to highlight innovative and emerging topics or trends as well as technical, maintenance, operations, and safety issues.

As we consider topics to offer during the conference, we are also interested in learning more about airport needs. What has your airport been dealing with in the past few years? What areas could your airport use help with?

Needs to consider:

  • Infrastructure management and maintenance
  • Wildlife hazard control/vegetation management
  • Redeveloping your airport
  • Financial planning—airport debt vs. upfront investment
  • Legal advice
  • How an airport factors into national or local emergency response

If you have an idea for a presentation on one of the example needs—including a best practice or innovative solution that supports any of these topics—we'd like to hear from you!

Consultants, airport personnel, council members, and others who are passionate about our aviation system are welcome to submit presentation ideas or needs. Please submit your ideas by completing the online form. The deadline for submissions is Saturday, September 30, 2023.
