2022 Minnesota Airports Conference

April 6–8, 2022
Mayo Civic Center
Rochester, MN

About the Event

The annual Minnesota Airports Conference features experts in aviation and aerospace fields sharing their experiences in general assembly presentations, workshops, and open forums. The conference offers educational sessions on airport management and administration, technical topics, safety, professional development, and maintenance operations. It also includes an industry trade show and an awards and recognition program.

The conference provides a forum for airport managers, staff, and administrative professionals to build a community network for exchanging best practices and learning from one another. Staff from MnDOT Aeronautics and the FAA, as well as MCOA board members, will be available to answer questions and provide the latest updates and funding opportunities.

Call for Presentations

The conference is brought to you by the Minnesota Council of Airports and the Minnesota Department of Transportation and facilitated by the Airport Technical Assistance Program (AirTAP).

At this time, the conference planning committee is soliciting presentation ideas for the 2022 conference. Presentations are encouraged to highlight innovative and emerging topics or trends as well as technical, maintenance, operations, and safety-related issues.

Consultants, airport personnel, council members, and others who are passionate about our aviation system are welcome to submit presentation ideas.

As we consider topics to offer during the conference, we are also interested in learning more about airport needs. What has your airport been dealing with in the past few years? What areas could your airport use help with? Please complete our online form and let us know!

Please submit your ideas and needs by completing the online form. The final deadline for submissions is Friday September 17, 2021.

Participant registration will be available in early 2022.

Who Should Attend

The conference focuses on airport management, operations, and maintenance, but it is open to anyone interested in aviation.
